Top of the table clashes on offer
D1M fans are treated to a pair of top of the table contests on Saturday, setting the scene nicely in both Pool A and Pool B.
Birmingham City University remain unbeaten at 5-0, taking on all comers so far as they've established themselves in Pool A's top spot.
One of the four teams behind BCU on six points, Liverpool, are next up to try and knock them off their perch.
With one of the side set to slip up, that opens the door to another 3-2 team, Worcester Wolves, who entertain winless Teesside Lions. That game can be viewed from the embed above, with a 7:30pm tip.
In Pool B, Barking Abbey and Barnet Bulldogs both have a 3-0 record but one of those spotless runs will come to an end this weekend.
The duo meet in Barnet on Saturday, with reigning D1M Player of the Week Chuck Duru hoping to get the best of Joshua Mendes (feature image) and co.
NBL National Cup
The NBL National Cup has reached the last sixteen, with seven of the eight ties set to go ahead this Sunday.
D2 Pool B rivals Cambridge Cats and Oaklands Wolves will guarantee a non-D1 side is in the hat for the quarter-finals as they go head-to-head, as will Pool D's Sussex Storm and Pool B's Northamptonshire Titans.
D1 Pool A leaders BCU host unbeaten D2 side Gloucester City Kings in what should be an entertaining matchup, and Barking Abbey have a tough road trip to London Stars as part of that duo's double-header weekends.
St Helens entertain Sheffield Sharks II in an all-D1 affair, Westminster Warriors host London Lions, and Solent Kestrels welcome Brent Bulls.
Yorkshire Dragons and cross-Pennines rivals Manchester Magic will wrap the round up once a date has been agreed for their contest.
