St Helens' Connor Murtagh currently leads all D1M scorers with 36.0PPG
West Midlands matchup
BCU vs Worcester is set to draw plenty of eyes in Pool A this week, with the hosts at 3-0 and the Wolves well-placed at 2-1 themselves.
The visitors own D1M's best defence at just 58.7PPG allowed, but BCU's attacking firepower is currently top five in the league at 86.0PPG.
That makes for an intriguing match-up, but it's not the only contest worth watching this weekend.
D1M top-scorer Connor Murtagh takes St Helens to a North West rival in Myerscough, unbeaten Manchester head across the Pennines to Sheffield Sharks II, and winless Teesside Lions and Cardiff Met Archers square off in South Wales.
In Pool B, Solent will need to bounce back from last weekend's loss to Barking Abbey as they head to London Elite.
London Stars are one of three unbeaten sides left in the standings and they head over to Richmond Knights, whilst London Lions II entertain Cobham Cobras.
NBL National Cup
The field of remaining teams in this year's NBL National Cup is set to be halved again on Sunday, with some eye-catching match-ups on tap.
Liverpool and Manchester clash to open proceedings at 12pm, with the likes of St Helens vs Sheffield Arrows and Leicester Warriors vs Birmingham City University following after.
With the slightly different format for this year's cup and all teams already in the draw, plenty of D2 sides will be hoping for a spot in the next round, as the likes of Exeter Spartans (home vs Solent Kestrels), LDN Phoenix (away vs London Stars) and Yorkshire Dragons (away vs Tees Valley Mohawks) still flying the flag for D3.
