Where is the Hall of fame for six man

I've not been there since Stinker's wife sold BJ's. There was a conversation on the site years ago about a HOF. Between Strawn-Gordon I think the area, along I-20 might be a good site. Kind of central in the state/sixman. For the moment 8 SC's between them, the history of the rivalry...

    Grayson rigdon !

As this tread is drifting and I've only seen him live in his freshman year in FB but follow his progress I hope he sticks with FB for both his own success and that of sixman FB, proving what one can be accomplished from that level, representing the sport. Hoping he doesn't have a basketball...

    What are you listening to?

From ZZ Top's 1st album. Their first "hit" on fm radio in fw/d in it's infancy, little/no commercials. Re done 50 years later from Gruene Hall, where my wife and I have danced.

    Go Chefs

That's what Andy Reid asks the guy in the commercial painting the field.

    Favorite Six Man Memory

I've written about my favorite several times. 2003 State Semi, Strawn-Richland Springs, last play, rushing the field. How about a second favorite, and a not so favorite, both from the 2008 State Championship game in Lubbock. This is also where I bought a Pink Camo cap from Granger, primarily...

    Go Chefs

Maybe the best Super Bowl ever tonight. That gunslinger from East Texas did it again. Did anyone else see Kelce trying to sing this after the game? Funny.

    Go Chefs

The Super Bowl always takes me back to watching the first time the Cowboys won it, January 16, 1972. They were the team that could never win the big one. They lost the year before to the Baltimore Colts by a field goal with 5 seconds left. They lost the NFL Championship to the Packers in 1966...

    Go Chefs

Take off on an Andy Reid commercial. Go Dallas Texans. They do have a pretty good Texas QB these days.

    Best Games of 2023

So, with enough XP's Newcastle might be state champ's?

I first found the blues through the Rolling Stones, You Gotta Move, Midnight Rambler and this Robert Johnson cover.

    UIL Reclassification and Realignment Information

Two programs in particular I think we should all welcome to sixman UIL are Boys Ranch and Ranger. A move up to where they may well be more competitive. I've been to BR once. A unique and class operation, athletic between football, BB, Rodeo. An oasis in the desert so to speak. Possibly...

    UIL Reclassification and Realignment Information

Longtime readers of the site will remember that some used to say the UIL uses a drunken monkey throwing darts at a map to determine redistricting.

Dan Campbell could have played Sixman

Four points' away from the Superbowl.

Dan Campbell could have played Sixman

I'd read about him playing HS football at Glen Rose. I didn't know he actually lived between Walnut Springs and Morgan. At 6'5" then he would have been a monster in sixman. But it seems his parents thought he needed a (little) bigger stage to get that scholarship at A&M. Go Lions...

    NFL Playoffs

51-11 is a pretty good record, imho.
