D1W's stars go head-to-head
CoLA's road clash against the Flyers on Saturday will provide WNBL fans an opportunity to watch two of the league's top bigs go at it in Pride's Adaora Dioramma and Bristol's Sammy Roscoe.
Both made the most recent FocusHoops Team of the Week with sizable double-doubles last time out and taking the battle on the glass could go a long way to deciding the winner between the two sides this weekend.
Anyone preferring to watch their action in the backcourt should keep an eye out in Suffolk for Ipswich's Harriet Welham and former team-mate Hannah Gray, who now turns out for the Riders. Forward Louisa Gibbins also calls Loughborough home in 2025/26 and will no doubt be hoping to mark her return to Copleston with a much-needed win.
Elsewhere, a pair of 3-1 sides will try and grab the upper hand in the race to catch CoLA as London Cavaliers travel to Manchester Mystics, and London All Stars will hope their recent layoff hasn't left them rusty as they entertain Worcester.
WNBL National Cup
Round two of the WNBL National Cup is scheduled for this Sunday, with a number of exciting ties set to get underway.
Defending champs Ipswich head to Cambridge for a much-anticipated tie with Anglia Ruskin, a side they beat in their opening game of the D1W season.
Brent Bulls can progress if they can see off Slough Cobras, whilst Manchester Mystics can do the same if they can navigate former D1W outfit Cardiff Met Archers.
Elsewhere, Bromsgrove head to D2 Tees Valley Mohawks as both teams try to get their names into the hat for the next round, and there's an all-D1 affair between Loughborough and Worcester.
HoopsHQ keeps fans in the heart of the action
Basketball England’s new game-day app HoopsHQ is now live and available to download.

It means players, coaches and supporters will be able access up-to-the-minute information on games, including – where digital scoring is utilised – live updates. FIBA Live Stats will still be used in relevant NBL and WNBL competitions.
