Double the action, double the opportunity

Double-header weekends are tough to manage, but do provide teams with an opportunity to make a real impact on the standings as they hunt for four points instead of the regular two.

Worcester can move right to the top of the standings if they can win their games against Manchester and Cardiff and have results elsewhere go their way. At 5-0 and as Pool A's last unbeaten side, Manchester can focus all their energy on the Wolves as their sole clash this weekend.

BCU can bounce back from a loss last time out and regain some momentum if they can topple Oxford Hoops and Sheffield Sharks II.

At 3-4 and 3-3 respectively, Cardiff Met Archers and Sharks II will both be hoping for a chance to push up the standings as well.

Good times set to continue for the Bulldogs?

At 5-0, Barnet continue to lead Pool B, and with a home game against 0-4 London Elite, the Bulldogs should be favourites to keep their winning streak intact for another week.

That means they can extend their advantage on second-placed Solent, who are without a game, whilst keeping an eye on challengers Barking in their tough road trip to London Lions II.

HoopsHQ keeps fans in the heart of the action

Basketball England’s new game-day app HoopsHQ is now live and available to download.

HoopsHQ is the one-stop shop for everyone participating and following Basketball England’s leagues and competitions, including the NBL, WNBL and Jnr. NBL.

It means players, coaches and supporters will be able access up-to-the-minute information on games, including – where digital scoring is utilised – live updates. FIBA Live Stats will still be used in relevant NBL and WNBL competitions.

The app will feature scores, standings and fixtures, plus basic player and team stats, and will be where participants' Basketball England licence cards will be hosted for the upcoming season.
