All eyes on the Capital
There's plenty to get excited about in D1W this weekend, with two big match-ups happening around the London area.
CoLA's loss to Bristol last week pegged the current leaders back, and after taking Pride right to the wire for last season's regular-season title, Brent would love to get one over on their title rivals.
London Cavaliers and London All Stars also meet on Saturday. The All Stars can get back to .500 with a win, the Cavs can keep their push for a top four spot going with a win. Neither will want to lose ground in D1W's congested mid-pack.
Expect offence in Worcester
Two of D1W's top three scorers go head-to-head this weekend as Worcester's Ciani Montgomery (29.8PPG, feature image) and Anglia Ruskin's Tia Freeman (21.0PPG) battle it out.
At 3-3, Ruskin would like to put a winning run together before December's mid-season break to set them up for the second half of the season. The Wolves will know that as one of only three one-loss teams, winning their games in hand will see them vault right up the standings.
The battle between Montgomery and Freeman should be a good one, and both teams currently rank in the bottom half of D1W for points allowed per game. That should equal a potentially high-scoring contest, and one you wouldn't want to miss.
